In the eastern part of the Rosemont-La-Petite-Patrie borough, we share bikes, bike trailers, and cars to make daily travel easier.
LocoMotion Rosemont is a collective project led by members and a local volunteer committee. The goal: to make active and shared transportation more accessible, while creating opportunities to help each other out with mobility.
You can lend a vehicle, borrow one, or help keep the project running.
Le projet LocoMotion Rosemont a pris forme en 2023, porté par un comité citoyen de l’Est de Rosemont qui souhaitait développer davantage d’options de transport partagé dans la communauté.
Le projet a d’abord misé sur le partage de remorques à vélo, pour faciliter le transport de charges volumineuses sans prendre la voiture.
En 2024, l’autopartage communautaire s’est ajouté au réseau : les membres peuvent maintenant prêter leur auto ou emprunter celle d’un-e autre membre.
En 2025, les vélos-cargos électriques ont rejoint la flotte partagée locale.
Le projet a aussi reçu le prix LocoZen aux LocoFolies 2023, remis à une communauté qui avait particulièrement bien respecté son rythme.
Aujourd’hui, le partage continue d’évoluer avec la communauté.
