Vélovolt

An Équiterre project powered by LocoMotion technology to switch from cars to bikes.

Each year, Vélovolt offers long-term e-bike trials and awareness activities in several Quebec organizations to introduce organizations and their teams to this new mode of transportation.

LocoMotion joins Équiterre in the Vélovolt adventure for its second phase by facilitating the borrowing experience through its digital platform, locomotion.app.

LocoMotion’s sharing platform

Since 2019, the LocoMotion team has been developing a digital solution that allows members of the same community to lend and borrow various vehicles. A great Quebec innovation, non-profit and open source.

If you think our transactional platform could help you in your mission, contact us.

Let your teams try e-bikes

Over the two years of the project, electric-assist bikes will be loaned to about thirty organizations during one of four periods:

  • April 1 to July 30, 2025;
  • August 1 to November 30, 2025;
  • April 1 to July 30, 2026;
  • August 1 to November 30, 2026.

Give your teams a social benefit that’s good for their health and the environment.

Spots are limited.

Since 2021, nearly 50 organizations have taken a bold turn with Vélovolt.

Be the next one.

Vélovolt is made possible thanks to the financial support of the Government of Quebec as part of the Action-Climat Québec program, coordinated by the Fonds d’action québécois pour le développement durable and stemming from the Plan for a Green Economy 2030.
