Since 2022, the LocoMotion Verdun project has been bringing together residents of Verdun on Montreal Island and Nuns’ Island around local vehicle sharing.
With the support of Demain Verdun, the volunteer Committee began by sharing self-made LocoMobile trailers and a trailer for transporting dogs.
Two years later, to provide green and affordable transportation, the Committee is committed to deploying cargo bikes, a tricycle for seniors, and implementing peer-to-peer carsharing.
LocoMotion Verdun is the beautiful story of an engaged community getting into sharing mode!
