The Board of Directors
Meet the nine leaders who represent the movement and guide our collective decision-making!
Benoit
Chair
A recently retired electrical engineer, Benoit has been living car-free for the past two years and volunteering for community causes since 1995. His strategic thinking, business insight, and contagious enthusiasm make him a natural leader for LocoMotion’s Board.
Lucile
Vice-chair
A co-op board member, active parent volunteer, and legal professional, Lucile brings strong planning and communications expertise to LocoMotion. She helps steer the organization toward new opportunities while representing the Sud-Ouest community.
Christine
Director
A proud resident of La Petite-Patrie, Christine has helped her local LocoMotion Community grow since 2020. As a union advisor, she’s passionate about civic engagement and making cycling a bigger part of everyday life.
Maurice
Director
Maurice may have shifted gears, but he’s still part of the LocoMotion journey. After helping organize our finances and navigate the complexities of insurance as a staff member, he now serves on the Board. His deep knowledge of our organization and strategic perspective help keep us moving forward.
Florence
Director
Florence has been an active volunteer in her Community for more than six years. She combines a deep understanding of LocoMotion with over 20 years of experience in journalism, communications, and strategic planning. On the Board, she helps ensure our messages stay clear, consistent, and accessible.
Nicolas
Director
With extensive experience in strategic planning and human resources, Nicolas, from the Agence de mobilité durable, brings a strong commitment to the social and ecological transition shaping the future of mobility.
Sébastien
Director
Founder of Cargone, one of Québec’s few cargo bike manufacturers, Sébastien plays two important roles within LocoMotion. As a partner in our cargo bike network, he helps develop a dedicated fleet, while also serving on the Board, where he contributes his entrepreneurial mindset, technical expertise, and commitment to community mobility.
Carole
Director
Carole has been part of the LocoMotion adventure since the days when everything ran from a shared Google Calendar and a memorable presentation at Montréal’s Cinéma Beaubien. Representing Coop Carbone on the Board, she brings expertise in technology and partnerships to support the network across Québec. For Carole, LocoMotion is about much more than shared transportation, it’s a practical way to strengthen community connections and reduce isolation.
Roselyn
Director
After working at Solon and later Réseau LocoMotion, Roselyn knows the organization inside and out. She helped build what LocoMotion is today and continues contributing both as a Project Lead and as a volunteer in her Community. With strengths in partnerships, shared governance, and strategic planning, she brings valuable operational insight to the Board.
