In 2019, LocoMotion arrived in Sherbrooke’s Parc London neighborhood, just west of downtown. A group of dedicated neighbors mobilized to launch the very first project outside of Montreal, with a clear vision: to make local mobility more accessible, eco-friendly, and community-focused.
A second neighborhood joins the adventure
In 2022, a new community in the Hôtel Dieu area joined the movement. This dynamic neighborhood teamed up with Parc London to expand access to shared transportation in Sherbrooke and build stronger community ties.
2024, a milestone year: merger and an electric cargo bike In 2024, the two communities joined forces to launch the network’s very first crowdfunding campaign. The result: they exceeded their goal, and a second electric cargo bike was added to the shared fleet!
That same year, they merged under the LocoMotion Sherbrooke banner with an ambitious goal: to serve the entire city while building strong community ties through sharing.
