In Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, we share cargo bikes and bike trailers. A joyful way to move the kids around, transport a small piece of furniture, do your shopping, or simply avoid taking the car.
The fleet can evolve over time and with the seasons. Sign up and check the LocoMotion map to see the vehicles and their availability.
The trailers visible on the platform can also be borrowed during the winter period.
In 2023, the LocoMotion Hochelaga-Maisonneuve committee chose to support a local citizen mobilization, the Mobilisation 6600 Parc-Nature MHM.
How? By naming one of its bike trailers La Ray-Monde, showing solidarity with the movement by choosing a name similar to the company that decided to set up in the neighborhood despite local opposition. A creative way to advance a cause close to their hearts.
This initiative earned the committee the LocoLift Award at the first Gala LocoFolies.
The volunteer committee of LocoMotion Hochelaga-Maisonneuve shares its news and activities on Facebook.
You can also write directly to the committee to ask a question, offer your help, or simply come say hello.
LocoMotion is Quebec’s network for sharing vehicles in your community, in your area.
In Hochelaga-Maisonneuve and beyond, we’re giving ourselves more options to get around: fewer cars, more sharing, and stronger neighborhood connections.
