LocoMotion Beloeil

Participate in the region's first community carsharing project

Imagine: fewer cars in your neighborhood, savings on your transportation costs, and a more connected community. This is what LocoMotion offers, the network for sharing vehicles in your neighborhood that is already running in several Quebec cities.

Beloeil and Mont-Saint-Hilaire offer you the chance to lend your vehicle or borrow one from another member of your local community.

Getting rid of the second car is possible!

In Beloeil, we want fewer cars and stronger ties in the neighborhood.

Peer-to-peer carsharing means:

  • reducing car-related costs,
  • doing our part for the environment,
  • sharing rather than buying,
  • and meeting our needs without depending on a second vehicle.

Together, let’s give ourselves more transportation options and resist buying an extra car!

"Vehicle sharing is an innovative, accessible, and concrete solution to reduce the number of cars on the road, decrease our ecological footprint, and strengthen ties between neighbors."

— Nadine Viau, Mayor of Beloeil from 2021 to 2025

Thanks to the local committee

LocoMotion is active in Beloeil thanks to its volunteers.

They approve profiles, answer questions, and keep the community active. Without them, vehicle sharing wouldn’t be possible.

Got something to contribute to the project? Whether it’s encouraging sharing or lending a hand occasionally, many opportunities await you. Contact the committee!
